PHASES Of CHRISTIAN LIFE:

When we walk with God

In our life’s journey,i.e each level of our lives we are to always go hand in hand with someone.

-While we were babies we needed our parents the most

-When we were teenagers we needed our friends the most

-And when we get married we are with our partner most of the time

But above all these relationship’s we always love to share our secrets with our best friends,no matter what the phase of life.We always feel comfortable around friends. 

To find a good friend is equal to finding a precious jewel.

And today i want to tell you that there's someone's waiting to be that friend,that best friend you've always wanted.He's the type of friend who always loves to stick around no matter what the consequences.He can give the best of ideas that will never fail.He doesn’t change.He doesn’t like to give up on you.Above all He loved you even before you were formed in your mother's womb,He loves you even more now and will forever keep loving you.
And that awesome friend is JESUS Himself.He wants to have a beautiful relationship with you.Are iyou willing to join hands with Him and walk together forever?
If YES then;

Go on grab His hands. It’s going to be an amazingggg ride.

John15:15 says;

 No longer do I call you servants, for a servant does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I heard from My Father I have made known to you.

*Levels in a Christian’s life:

Let’s compare these levels to that of elisha and elijah’s journey.They traveled along different paths but were together.As Elijah was about to be taken up by God and Elisha wanted to receive double portion of elijah’s power.So Elisha made up his mind to keep following Elijah nomatter where he went.

Lets go to 2 kings 2:1-14;

# 1^st Level:

-DECISION MAKING&MAKING IT CLEAR

-(2kings2:1-2) Ellijah&Elisha travelling from  //GILGAL-BETHEL//

BIBLE VERSE:
And it came to pass, when the Lord was about to take up Elijah into heaven by a whirlwind, that Elijah went with Elisha from Gilgal. ² Then Elijah said to Elisha, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Bethel.”

But Elisha said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they went down to Bethel.

EXPLANATION:

➤Elisha made his decision clear. All he wanted was to receive the double portion blessing from Elijah.

➤Though he knew that Elijah would be taken away and had the fear of losing Him,he still kept following.

➤The same way we are make our decisions clear.If we choose to follow God,then we are keep our hearts&minds clear and keep moving forward.

➤Though we may have certain fears,we don’t have to lose hope. Cause the moment we decide that we are going to follow God. He promises to carry all our burdens and will help us to overcome all of our fears as we keep growing in Him.

The condition for the 1^st level:

Matthew 16:24;  Then Jesus said to His disciples, “If anyone desires to come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow Me.

(cross meaning-our fears,doubts)

Promise for the 1st level:

Duetronomy 31:8;And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”

# 2^nd Level:

-Rising up of fear&In Process of Trusting

-(2kings2:3-5) Elisha and Elijah travelling from //BETHEL to JERICHO//

 ^{BIBLE VERSE:}
Now the sons of the prophets who were at Bethel came out to Elisha, and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?”And he said, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”

Then Elijah said to him, “Elisha, stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to Jericho.”But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So they came to Jericho. Now the sons of the prophets who were at Jericho came to Elisha and said to him, “Do you know that the Lord will take away your master from over you today?”So he answered, “Yes, I know; keep silent!”

EXPLANATION:

➤At this stage, while Elijah and Elisha were travelling along. Few prophets started to shout out to Elisha that ”Elijah would be taken away”. And this kindled his fear even more. As we already know that’s the only thing that has been troubling Elisha from level 1 i.e; What if Elijah was taken away all of a sudden and he would be left without receiving the double portion blessing. But even after that,when the fears started to grow Elisha made his decision clear in his mind again and started following though Elijah asked him to stay behind.

➤Our thoughts might seem to be the same as elisha’s. Though we’ve decided that we would move along with God all of sudden a spiritual breakout happens i.e; people we know(Our family members,loved one’s,friends) might start to shoutout unfaithful words,words that pull us down.But we have to be clear by now as to what our next move should be.We are to keep our heads up and our minds confined &never  turn back no-matter how crazy our fears would rage. We are to keep moving forward if we need to receive that double portion blessing from God.

Condition for the 2^nd level:

Matthew 6:31-33;“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ ³² For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things.³³ But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Promise for the 2^nd level:

Joshua 1:9;Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.”

# 3^rd level:

-Processing of unshakable faith

-(2kings2:6-12) Elijah and Elisha travelling from //JERICHO-JORDAN//

BiBLE VERSE:
Then Elijah said to him, “Stay here, please, for the Lord has sent me on to the Jordan.”But he said, “As the Lord lives, and as your soul lives, I will not leave you!” So the two of them went on. ⁷ And fifty men of the sons of the prophets went and stood facing them at a distance, while the two of them stood by the Jordan. ⁸ Now Elijah took his mantle, rolled it up, and struck the water; and it was divided this way and that, so that the two of them crossed over on dry ground.9 And so it was, when they had crossed over, that Elijah said to Elisha, “Ask! What may I do for you, before I am taken away from you?”Elisha said, “Please let a double portion of your spirit be upon me.”¹⁰ So he said, “You have asked a hard thing. Nevertheless, if you see me when I am taken from you, it shall be so for you; but if not, it shall not be so.” ¹¹ Then it happened, as they continued on and talked, that suddenly a chariot of fire appeared with horses of fire, and separated the two of them; and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven.¹² And Elisha saw it, and he cried out, “My father, my father, the chariot of Israel and its horsemen!” So he saw him no more. And he took hold of his own clothes and tore them into two pieces. 

EXPLANATION:
➤Though elijah warned elisha to stop following him,elisha dint stop as he was very stubborn that he wanted to receive the double portion blessing.
➤But elisha kept in a condition that if elisha wanted to receive the blessing "he had to see elijah being taken up.If that happens then he'll receive it if not it's gone. 

➤In the same way when we are on the 3rd phrase,we become quite sure and strong with our decision. 
➤But if we have to move to the last level then there comes a condition along. Whatever the situation(easy/hard) be we are always to have that undoubted faith in the Lord and keep moving knowing that everything happens for good and our God would never fail us.Then we move forward.

Condition for 3^rd level:  

MARK11:24;Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
Promise for the 3^rd level:

HABBAKUK 2:3; For the vision is yet for an appointed time;
But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie.
Though it tarries, wait for it;
Because it will surely come,
It will not tarry.

4^th LEVEL:

-It all becomes worth it-Receiving double portion-You keep growing more and more

-(2kings2:13-14)Elisha&Elijah at JORDAN&Elisha receiving the double portion

BIBLE VERSE:

13He also took up the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and went back and stood by the bank of the Jordan. 14Then he took the mantle of Elijah that had fallen from him, and struck the water, and said, “Where is the Lord God of Elijah?” And when he also had struck the water, it was divided this way and that; and Elisha crossed over.¹⁵ Now when the sons of the prophets who were from Jericho saw him, they said, “The spirit of Elijah rests on Elisha.” And they came to meet him, and bowed to the ground before him.

EXPLANATION:

➤Elijah was taken up and elisha saw it and started crying cause 1st thing he was left alone and second he must have been scared wondering whether he received the double portion blessing or not. 

➤But finally he took the mantle though he felt doubtful to use it and see the rivers get separated. He still went and hit the river and then it was separated into two.When this happened all the people saw the incident and started professing that elijah's spirit rests upon eliajh and bowed down to him.

➤The final level is the miracle happening state. All that waiting,unceasing prayers and undoubted faith shall receive it's rewards openly. Though for awhile when you might feel like a failure whilst everyone around u turns out to be successful.But be clear that that's not the end of all.Cause your miracle is just getting ready to take off.

➤And when that miracle happens all eyes will see and ears will hear what the Lord has done in your lives and will profess that you are not ordinary only because you trusted the Extraordinary God.
It always takes time when God is at work because He wants to give us the best of all which no man can give.

➤It doesn't end here.The anointing keeps growing each day.So never stop listening to His voice & doing His will.

Condition for the 4^th level:

1PETER1:6-7;  In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, ⁷ that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ.

Promise for the 4^th level:

2CoRINTHIANS1:20;  For all the promises of God in Him are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.
